I'm at a loss for words how freaking awesome this is and it's also hard not to use four letters words to describe how much I like it. but, one comes to mind. I'm blown away epic work just truly epic.

Well, another great iteration by Flying Debris. This guy is doing good by the community and making art that is going to look GREAT in game I think.

Now dang nabbit get us a Marauder!

Cheers

eh...I dunno. Centy is one of my top 5 loved mechs and this? this....isn't exactly it.
no head turn? arg, head piece was one of the coolest parts.
slimline torso? too anime
feet...yeah...
overall it just doesn't feel like MW. The chunkiness of the designs was part of the charm and the Atlas, hunchback, and dragon FD designs still show it, this...looks too much like an Arm Slave/Gundam.
FYI; because I love the mech so much, I will be 'that guy'

hmmm

While I love the CN9-A, and busted a nut to get one in MPBT3025, I'm not so sure about this one.

It's a fantastic revision of a classic mech, but the whole *toes* on the feet and the forearm vambrace/shield and shoulder baffle doesn't seem quite right.

But hey, another mech, woohoo!!

Summer can't get here soon enough.

Plus this looks like its the Beam variant rather than the AC10 version looking at the arm barrel.

+1 for FD and his artistic workings.

I am the 6th youngest man here and I will probably need the most time getting used to this design. Never even drove a Centurion myself. :)

The design is so good and modern. I could see some problems with identification, but that is really just minor. Another great mech for us. :)

I have mixed feelings on this one. It looks nice, but if they had not told me it was suppose to be an Centurion I would not of recognized it. I think that you need some familiarity with the Battlemechs in the TROs. Still it is cool looking.

Cool story bro...

...now really, where is the centurion?

Honestly not hating on FD's skill because I think it is an amazing picture based on the centurion but is most certainly not the centurion. (I understand wanting to reimagine the mechs but there comes a point when you need to go "ok yeah that is definitly something else")

RIP my friend http://ppc.warhawken...s/centurion.gif (even clansmen love the old mechs)

So why does it look so much different than the original? I mean it wasn't one of the mechs killed by the FASA Counter suit... so whats the deal?

It just doesn't...feel...right. Waist is too slim. The hand is too....crowish. The shield wasn't necessary nor was the shoulder baffle. Too slim, not enough boxy. And it no longer has a head. The head was one of the best parts.

I do miss the large armor jacketing on the Autocannons, and I'd say this cements the "no rear-facing weapons" issue. But these are minor quibbles.

The head I LIKE. Mechs don't need a cockpit mounted on a gimbal waving around out there waiting to be shot off. The sunken cockpit is a nice modernization.

So it is not an angry mob with sticks and pitchforks that will come at him. It will be a mob of Clans which hate the new IS design. :)
