Let's be fair, if you guys want to be an inappropriately turgid gold-plated dick defiantly pointing in the face of all things holy to Battletech/Mechwarrior, who am I to say ni, but at least be more creative with your backstory. The CBS acronym is a nice start. You guys should include something about how the Exodus was actually started over a bad break up between Kerensky and your founder. Something about Kerensky needed "time and space". Throw in something about him being upset over not getting enough "cuddle time" or whatever.

Magnus I did write up a Story about how Clan Black Sheep came to be. To put it in a Nut Shell, we are the Clans Version of Special Forces created specifically by Nicholas Kerensky with no oversight from the Grand Council. My persona is that of a MechWarrior that was 'poisoned' by a Genetics Engineer in an effort to keep me away from his daughter. His attempt failed miserably and I mutated, this all happened before Aleksander Kerensky took the remains of the SLDF on the Exodus. Thats right Im not a TrueBorn Clanner, I could be considered a Founder. Because of my mutation I was not added to the rolls of the Surnames that later became Bloodnames. If your wondering about the Kerensky surname, yes I did do an official Trail and won the name while I was part of Wolf during the time that I scoured the Clans in search of Warriors who would fit in with CBS. Alot of what is attributed (in the story) to the Bandit Caste are actually the results of our interfearance. True Born or Freebirth all are equal in Clan Black Sheep, instead of Bloodnames we have BeerNames to set us apart uniquely from the rest of the Clans. I will have to look around and see if I still have the story or not if your interested in reading it. I did alot of research to get the timeline correct canonically.

You know, the one with all the subscription information on it. Next month is the annual Ladies of the Fleet issue, and the effects of zero g on the female anatomy has never failed to amaze me.

As someone who has played the BT/CBT/MW games since the first printing of the TT in the 80's, I recommend you should reconsider taking a hiatus from calling yourself a "Clan" (note the capitalization) for the nonce. You will know the right time when the alternate reality phase kicks in.
