Today i tryed to get MTX again to update my Mechwarrior 4 (Mechpak)
and i downloaded it.
After i downloaded it iam checking the log (the .txt data in the MTX folder) what it does.
"Extracting files"
K.Waiting...
But already waiting pretty long and iam asking my self is it stubid
to extract the .mtx file?
I mean i already got Mechwarrior 4 so why get another one?
Cause it was the same problem as now
So last time i only picked up the .mtx of Mechwarrior 4 and extracted it,woilah!Installed Mechwarrior 4 without MTX
I wanted go on Multiplayer to have some good training cause singleplayer is too easy.
Connected to Kurita,every server has a new version!
I was like Wha tha..
but i have the newest version! ( I THOUGHT)
Got MTX..
Same problem today!
Is it only doing so long or does it hangs up when installing the game after the download..
I only used MTX once and it worked fine on my old computer but it didnt took so long so what is wrong?
Is it freezing OR is it only extracting this long?!

The MTX client is absolute crap, the reason why they would use their own client just for MW4 and AT1 is beyond me.

I would go ask on mektek.net since they would help more than here.

True, that thing is horrible. Like in seriously horrible. It is a shame, because they would have a much broader diffusion otherwise.

i never have trouble with mtx just the strange updates mektek do time to time. go to mektek and look in any help/how to forums whenever i have trouble its always within a day that someone else posts the same problem.

Had some troubles with it too.
Just used the manual extractor main file and the updates.
