I just bought a Founder package and downloaded MWO. What I'm looking for is some game instructions/manual about the game, what you can do, how is money spent, what you're mech can do, etc. Is there a tutorial or training ground where you can go to and practice how to move and fire your mechs and see what they are capable of?

Also, where is the global chat so you can talk and maybe ask some quick questions.

Additionally, what is the minimum spec requirements to play this game. Not sure if my graphics card is up to it on this laptop or not. Everything seems to move too slow...not to mention I don't know what I'm doing so far either :D

Thanks for any replies.

Many of your questions can be answered by using the search function, other answers may have NDA implications. Try the beta forums for stuff like this.

Nevermind you posted in the wrong section, you got the game without reading any of the stickies/dev blogs about the game? Sounds like your one of todays typical gamers who get a game on a whim without prior research.

And you sound like one of those guys who crys about people posting questions on the forums. . Kinda strange being that's one of the reasons forums exist.

If you don't like what people are posting, why show your narrow mindedness off to the world by posting a negative comment when it's clear this the guy is new here and all he wants to do is improve his gameplay.

If you don't like what you see and have nothing constructive to add, just go read another post.

Seriously though, check out the forum search for the answers you need, both here in the general and over in Beta, they have all the answers your looking for :(

I'm an old timer, what can I say. I'm not a forums person and expect detailed rules/game play information to be available from the game companies website, not on a forum. Perhaps when the game goes "live" this issue will be addressed. In any case I hate to waste time looking throughout forums, but I will search and check them for my questions. Thank you all for your time.
