Your weathering looks great, but perhaps a little large in scale. That is to say, the texture itself seems fine, but at the scale it's at, it makes the mech look about a foot high. More of a problem with the paint wear on the torso than the mud splatter on the feet, which looks correct. Not sure how much of that made sense.

Pretty cool, just a little more square. Making the arm guns looking like MW4 Mercs would be best, in my opinion. Rougher looking, and armored up, that's cool.

This Mech looks sharp. Not overpowered with canons everywhere but still looking capable. Good weathering and texture on the mechs.

thaught it would be cool to post a size comparrison of the mech next to some of my ingame assets. (for iDTech and Soruce Engine)

Posted Image

ok so i compared the mech with a Leyland National 2 (left) Class 08 Shunter (Centre) and a Class 55 Deltic (right) and the box in the centre would represent the players height in most iDTech/Source games :P hope you enjoyed the size comparrison.

Edit i just noticed the bus was mission its interrior ><

Looks fantastic. It's making me want to open 3ds max back up and have at it. The one thing I'm still pretty bad at is creating skins. Do you paint the skin entirely within max, or do you do most of the work in photoshop, or some other combination?

i use a combination. the Class 08 Shunter was done entirely in Photoshop before i knew how to use Mdubox, but then while i was in university we learned how to use it and its become my primary textureing software since.

thanks for the comments and for viewing :(

Hi Kodiak, I was wondering if you would be willing to do pic of the vulture pained up in House Liao colors?

The texture looks alright so far. This is where your model can really come to life. I'd suggest looking at aircraft decal kits for more detailing ideas. Especially think about adding some pilot personalization to the paint job. One thing Ghost Bears are known for is their artistic abilities, so you know the pilot would do something to the 'mech. Paint a landscape on a leg, or a prowling bear somewhere on the torso, perhaps a passage from the Rememberance or make one up to reflect some deed the pilot may have done.

This looks great! The vulture especially but also the texture work on the Executioner. I like the detail you put into the textures. Makes me want to put a little more effort into my models too. I usually can't be bothered to even UV unwrap them. At the moment I'm going for a cartoony style so that I barely have to texture at all.

Then again, given your update schedule, I remember why I don't do it. :) It just takes a lot of time to be thourough.

sorry took me a while but its just a quick update, added a new grundge layer, started painting it on the left and right ams, and the right leg, i felt that the left arm was a plain, so i added some paneling to it, not sure if you will be able to see it however the render came out a tad dark.

i will try to get more done, but im currently busy setting up a wenpage. hope you notice the diffrence and enjoy the render :) crits comments are welcome.
