Well, me and a couple of friends are going to try to organize another FRR Merc Company. We havent finalized our organisation yet but it will come with time.

By the way, Tyr is the god of justice and war.

The House units available (per canon documentation not per MWO Developers):

Rasalhague Province:
1st and 2nd Drak0ns
1st Hussars
1st Freemen
1st Kavelleri

Radstadt Province:
4th Drak0ns
2nd Hussars
3rd Freemen
Gunzburg Eagles (an Aerospace unit)

Skandia Province:
3rd Drak0ns
3rd Hussars
2nd Freemen
2nd and 4th Kavelleri

The Drak0ns are designated as Heavy and Assault units, the Hussars are a mixed Heavy-Medium units, the Freemen are Medium-Light units, and the Kavelleri are Light and Vehicular units. Note there are exceptions in all these units, this is just their basic designation.

It looks like they may be angling to get the 1st Tyr Regiment put in as one of our "elite" units for high faction loyalty. Though that could be reading way too much in to the ISN post the other day.

Well the Tyr Regiment was a Lyran built Assault unit that was manned almost completely by FRR pilots. So I would say they should be included. Maybe a House unit with Questionable loyalty or a Reliable Mercenary unit.

The unit was disbanded after '34 though, and not reformed till '61 or '62. The members were integrated into the KungsArmen or they retired.

We do know that mercs get a "Merc HQ", but we aren't exactly sure what that means yet. – Dihm

The Merc HQ will probably be a central place for us where each Merc unit engaged in the Campaign (or world warfare or whatever name they’ll choose) would be represented with its own interface where data pertaining to that specific unit can be accessed like loyalty points, situational view etc. and also a place where contracts would be presented/listed.
That’s what I suppose Merc HQ will deal with. B)
