I dot know if this has been answered already or not. But will here be pinging and kicking in MWO? Because I'd love to do what I did to my friends 55ton quad mech last nigt while playing classic battletech. I kicked his right front leg with my 100 ton mech and he fell on his head knocking his pilot unconsus. We were laughing at the mental picture of that for almost 10 minutes. Unfortunately after that on the next turn he headshotted and blew up my remaining mechs.

A. At this point in time we are not looking at melee combat. We may revisit melee combat if we can design something that is fun and does not compromise the overall gameplay experience.
