Minimum character limit in forums search

This feature is pretty annoying. I do understand that you don't want to be pulling posts for "and" "the" etc, but there are some quite important short terms that I absolutely do want to put into a search bar. XP and MC are two examples.

It's not really possible to get around this restriction, and it actually makes some threads/posts almost impossible to find. Is there anything you can do about that?



In fact, while I'm here, I have to say I've found this forum's search function pretty useless in general.

It would be very helpful to be able to search title and content of OP only, since that would allow us to pull up threads without perfect recall of the title, but also without having to wade through every post anyone's ever made with X word in it. The fact that threads older than a certain period are not searched/displayed also makes finding old content quite difficult.

Not at the top of my priority list but I've definitely been annoyed by it too.

Yes it would be nice to see the most common abbreviations that even the game uses able to be searched.

yes that does get annoying, i had to try and remember the exact title or a thread just to get back to it...all else fails
