So, my TT group played our frist real Quick-Strike game this weekend. It was an IS combined arms battalion vs a Clan mixed trinary. I really enjoyed this system. It still felt like I was playing battletech even though it had a grander strategic element due to the high amount of units. It was lots of fun. Here is the link:

Nice write up! Thanks for sharing.
The Quick Strike rules are the best unintentionally kept secret in Battletech. Can best be summed up as "Fast" battletech.

Yes, the Clan player did lose, I forgot to mention, that all his mechs where skill 3 and all our units and his tanks where 4. He fell right into our trap and got encircled...gogo light lances! but man did his mechs hit hard lol. His Nova erased my javelin with one shot!

Nice report!
I'm glad others are also enjoying Quick Strike form of Battletech.
In my gaming group it is quickly becoming another avenue of Battletech to enjoy even though we still play the traditional version mostly.
