you guys all crack me up :P everyone gets all up in arms. The truth is, everyone knows their stuff here, pretty well. The biggest point that makes sense so far........no need to buy ram faster then proc can handle, it does create a bottleneck, other then that, more is better, period. Maybe not for MWO itself, as it will only utilize x amount. In all of my computing years (which are many) I have NEVER once heard someone say that they had too much Ram, not one time. My first ram upgrade was 48MB and it was the size of two loaves of bread, I was still happy with it. and yes you can overkill, but being a little future proof is ok, and having too much, is just never a problem, assuming it fits the budget.
my 3 cents worth :)

The thing with getting more than 16gbs of RAM is that you need a much more expensive operating system to run it. You're going to pay a big extra chunk of cash just to slot more RAM capacity that you don't even need and likely won't use. Unless your computer is hosting some kind of server or you are like the nerd from the movie "The Core"; you most likely will not need more than 16gbs. Just breaking 6gbs of memory usage is hard without running 2 high end video games at one time.(And I doubt most people are multiboxing their video games)

That first one has the 16gb RAM cap while the others do not. Compare the prices. So unless for some reason you really need that much RAM; I suggest the Home Premium and its 16gb cap.
