riiiight you use your needlessly complicated likely uncomfortable mouse all you like. and il stick to the tried and true standard model mouse.

May just do that! Thanks for the great input you've added to this thread.

Mine should be delivered sometime today if UPS is on time.

I have carpal tunnel so normal mice are broken for me requiring either that I wear wrist braces or deal with a lot of pain. That's why I'm willing to try something different.

I just unboxed it.

First impressions are:
1. The reviews are right about it being small. I have small hands though so no problem for me.
2. It feels a little wierd and will take some getting used to but so far I like it.

I'll post an update once I get a chance to use it for more than web surfing.

After surfing the web and playing a couple of video games, I really like it. It's comfortable and a lot less stress on my wrist. I was able to play for about an hour without pain. With a normal mouse, I can game for about 5 minutes before I'm reaching for a wrist brace.

I tried one once... After 5 minutes, my wrist started to hurt.

For extended gameplay, I really recomend you some ergonometric mouse

I used it all day at work, and so far really like it. It was well worth the $30 I paid for it.

This link http://www.newegg.co...s%20gun%20mouse shows a "gun mouse" that seems to be designed for first person shooters. Anyone tried this thing before?

Mods, sorry if I'm not supposed to use links. Please delete if this isn't allowed.

Do they have one for looking at neggid lawdies?

No problem. Thanks for posting the link.
I've used it almost a week now and really like it. The only thing I don't like is the little pinkie rest on it. I think it would be more comfortable without it.

I've been using it a couple of weeks now and the rubber grip on the right side is trying to peel off. This seemed to be a common complaint on the newegg reviews. I put a little super glue on a tooth pick and spread it under the section that was lifting and taped it down until the glue dried. It seems to have fixed it.

I tried to use a regular mouse a few days ago and it felt really strange, now that I've gotten used to the Zalman.
