I realize that this has been suggested to death. I also know that it would be nearly impossible to implement well, but I've always done the Aerotech side of the game for friends when we were doing invasions. There was always something magnificent about sending my aerojock with his squadron in to soften up either the invading force or the defenders prior to landing. The merc corp he was a part of required small amounts of cross training, which only paid off once after getting shot down but not killed. With no other fighters available, the company commander authorized the use of one of the spare Jenners which had lost numerous pilots to head shots.
The dream?
Me and 100+ of my closest friends and enemies meet in battle starting at a place somewhere near the jump point and continue all the way till we hit the ground and continue from there. I can see not letting aerospace fighters be piloted after initial landing since they pass over the battlefield in mere seconds.
A glorious massive battle that is issued in the hall of records.

Problem is teh technical side of it. CryEngine has really crappy net-code and even 8v8 battles are tough for it, while PGI tries to scrap at least 12v12. 50v50 on one map in one time is obviously not possible, sadly.

AeroTech is awesome. I had the privilege of testing/critiquing/running the one AeroTech world even Trial of Retribution. PM Me some day about what Balanced should have been!

I'm not sure I understand your command Joseph. And Adridos, I realize that it is just a dream. I've had this dream since I was a kid though. I don't guess even the Battlefield series can handle the network load caused by that many people with a large enough map to make it feel realistic. I don't know for sure since I've never played them.

can handle 24vs24, atleast MWLL made it
