This thread was inspired by what evolved from the last one I started here.

On Terra, in an area of the North American continent still known for its Bourbon, resides a Space Port and barracks reserved for Mercenaries under the authority of the Mercenary Review and Bonding Commission. The facility is funded by ComStar and provides prospective mercenaries with lodging, repair facilities and a means by which to find legitimate employment for a reasonable fee.

Outside of the Space Port, near a river still known as the Mississippi, resides a place known as the Lone Wolf Lounge.

The Lone Wolf Lounge is a warehouse on a dock converted to catering spicificly for those unaffiliated MechWarriors and those who wish to get laid by the rugged individuals who refuse to chafe under the ldeadership of others. It is also a place where one can find less reputable bidders for certain questionable jobs. Inside a "loft" was built above the ground floor that has tables, chairs, a kitchen and office. The upper floor takes up roughly only half of the building's length and overlooks the lower floor and the dock outside of its massive retractable doors. The ground floor has the wet bar, stage for bands and a collection of games ranging from Billards to holotables for simulated 'Mech fights. Near the massive doors leading out to the dock is an equally massive holosphere displaying the latest Solaris matches. Flat screen TVs flank the big doors playing other sporting events and are big enough to be viewed clearly from anywhere in the building.

There is a full security staff "just in case" and the place is stocked with everyting a person could want. There is also a wonderful view of the city-side just across the river and one of the very, very, very old steel bridges still standing from the Twenteith Century.

(Moves to the stage area and begins unpacking drums.)

Thought maybe we could have an open jam here. If that's all right?

(Buys a drink and some grub, and hopes for other musicians to arrive.)

*Leans against the railing overlooking the holosphere. Grand battles imported all the way from Solaris play there, displaying the carnage and glory for all to see*

*Notes the arrival of a familiar face but says nothing. Outside on the docks a barge neaders by, stacked high with tobacco*

All of the technology of the Inner Sphere and they still use barges.

use whats effective and cheap to make the most of it ... or in laymens terms ... if it works keep using it...

*Pushes away from the railing and goes to one of the tables in the dining area above the stage. There he sits and shuffles through papers with a clear frown of displeasure on his brow*

-watches the other leave and focuses back onto the match at hand not that he was overly impressed but then again he had a rather unique point of view on such things, always looked so much easier on the holovid didn't they-
