Can't have a mech game without self destruct.
Your limbs shot off and weapons destroyed, leaving you a limping mess of useless hull? Stagger next to a camping sniper mech, initiate self destruct and watch is you vainly attempt to bring down ( or at least overheat) the enemy with you!

please no, it'll be abused, exp[loited and over-used.
Self-destruct its meaningless and without checks and balances when you get to respawn in a new mech 30 secs later.
I'd accept Self-destruct if it required you to buy the mech all over again in order to use, plus its on "Cool Down" for respawn for 48hrs...maybe longer. plus, you lose all XP and C-bills for the match.
Instead, how about you stay logged in, try to be useful...like scout, be a meat-shield for a friendly..or eject(if added in game).
