Any plans to make Assault mechs more "Flexible" in some missions

like turning them into fast scouting units?

All I thought think was "then it wouldn't be an assault would it? it would be a bloody SCOUT!!!"

If it was a Steiner I could have let it slide as a joke but NO. I didn't want to reply on that topic cause it is not the place for it. (plus one of the rules for it was no replys/discussions under that topic)

I mean for the most part this community has been great but there are times when people post things that I just shake my head in minor disgust. Its like him asking "hey can I get my assault to run as fast as those lights but not lose my armor or weapons?" Heck with that logic how about this then can I have 4 LBX AC/20s on my "Assault" flea so I can one shot a Dire Wolf? Seems legit right?

I guess I shouldn't have posted this at all but there are times where I just get a little frustrated. I just want people to understand that if you want a fast mech then play a fast mech don't hop in an Assault and whine about you should be able to customize it so its as fast as the lighter mechs.

I think you're reading this wrong: there's the assault role and the assault weight class. The question you mention is basically someone saying 'can I take an assault weight class mech and play it in a scout role?'

which I think is a very valid question. Are light-class mechs tied to the scout role?

Please keep in mind that not everyone who posts on these forums is 18 years or older, nor do they have the deep undstanding of the Battletech/Mechwarrior universe that others might.
