Ladies and gents, I present to ye...

The Land Walker!

You'd probably be better of with a Flea, but that's a few centuries later.

What're you waiting for, prospective MechWarriors? Buy one now!

(Not sure if this was shared before, did a search, didn't pop out.)

It has wheels and it will fall over, if you lean on one of the legs . .

That's pretty cool, but from the way the feet move I might be tempted to call it 'Grey Gumby the Land Slider'

It needs a decent gyro, computer programs that sense it's balance when it walks at all of it's speeds, strong-as-hell endoskeleton to handle the weight, MORE than adequate hydralics, I could go on, but whats the point?

Yeah, well, I really don't believe this is, in any way, a serious attempt to create a combat Mech. Looks like some niche business.

Anyone know if the weaponry actually works?

Yeah, it's been around for a few years, now.

(I don't know how well search is working, but I mentioned it - together with the newer Toyota i-Foot - in a post on 01/30 (4th paragraph from the bottom of the post), and quoted that one in a post made the following day (01/31).)

Both of the "weapons" are pneumatic and fire foam-rubber spheres - they can be seen firing at the 3:15 through 3:45 marks in the OP's video.

Thanks for the post! I haven't seen that video in a long time. I was so excited to see that a few years ago. But unfortunately, that is NOT a mech! First of all it's got wheels on the bottom of the so-called feet. It should be called a "land skater" or "land shuffler" or in my opinion a 300,000 dollar paperweight(that's how much it cost the guy to build it).

THIS is a REAL MECH:

It's not just a real mech but it actually has a practical use. Timberjack is out of business i think and they bought this design from Plusteck Oy. John Deer bought Timberjack out(i think). This argo mech is currently referred to as the John Deere Walking Tractor. Plz correct me if i'm wrong cuz i'm trying to find as much info on this mech as possible cuz i want the blue prints! B)

My apologies then, and thanks for pointing that out. I didn't manage to watch through it, got a bit too excited to share it, aha.

And that is interesting, Dr. Death. Wonder how much energy it uses up though.
