Hey guys,

I am thinking of getting the founders pack but before I do I was wondering what sort of ping / latency people are getting at the moment, is it playable?

I play in NZ with our crappy internet on an underspec machine and its rather good. I would highly suggest getting a founders pack.

Hey Reggimus ah good to hear I am in Western Australia so will not be as good as east coast connection but if you're doing ok I think I should be fine. I am with iinet with a fast enough connection I guess.

depends onhow many are on, sometimes it's good... others it's barely playable.

It's definitely playable, but the lag is definitely noticeable when using any non laser weapon, which wouldn't be so bad if it was a consistent delay that you could adapt to, but it tends to fluctuate and spike. I guess that that is at least partially due to server side issues that will be ironed out (hopefully). Good luck trying to hit anything faster than an atlas with a projectile or srm right now though.

Anyway I snapped and bought the veteran pack to support the developers, downloading the beta as we speak hopefully the lag is not to *****

I'm in Melbs with a great system and internet, but my lag is horrible... I traverse a level sometimes half as slow as people in the same mech with all the rubberbanding. It reminds me of playing counterstrike back on dialup. Almost unplayable (the almost is only there because I love mechs. If someone didn't LOVE mechs, there is no way I would recommend playing in Australia)

Finally , a few people from Perth . I can run the game on my pos laptop with a Internet connection that keeps dropping speeds just fine . No lag at at , which surprises me . Any other game and it lags out . All in all , I'm glad i got founders package
