Is Mech 16 the Quickdraw or not?

They would have to release the Mauler, Zeus, and countless other 'Mechs that the INN announcements have talked about first.

so many mechs, so little time. Perhaps these that we have been seeing in the news flashes may one day make it in game, but I wouldn't hold bets on when exactly that would be. Hopefully there's several years ahead of us and we'll get to a see an incredibly large assortment of them

Ironwind Metals doesn't even have a Quickdraw mini so obviously not a popular mech. Too many others like the Zeus need to come first.

Unless they took it down, IWM does have a Quickdraw mini.

Hence why I own two.

@Congzilla: I disagree. bout time they give some mechs who've never gotten the chance to be in a mechwarrior game some love. After all, was the Cataphract that popular? or the Cicada? even if so, they still made it into the game before more well-known designs. You'l get your Zeus, just don't be surprised if the Quickdraw makes it in before it.

It's in their archive section. They archive off anything that isn't selling. You can still order it, it just costs more because they don't have any in stock and they run one off the mold when you order it.

Cool I actually need one, I rolled it for salvage in the last tract of the campaign I am playing. Still proves my point about it's popularity though.

Cicada is rather popular as is the Frankenmech (Cataphract) if you play in the pre-clans / early invasion timeline.

Mech 16 is obviously going to be a giant panda mech. Everybody loves having playable pandas randomly inserted into their game for no good reason..... right?

The 16th mech will almost certainly be an Assault Mech. All of the other weight classes have 4 mechs, while the Assault class only has 3. Going off of speculation, the Mauler, the Devastator, or the Zeus are the most likely choices. Either one would be pretty good choices. I'm going to take a guess and say that the Mauler is the most likely candidate. The Atlas is a 100 ton mech, the Stalker is an 85 ton, and the Awesome is an 80 ton mech. The Mauler, coming in at 90 tons, would fit the wide spread of weight and it's a good multi-functional mech. Because a few of the later variants include lostech, this will most likely be a higher tier mech to unlock.

Nope, it is not the Quickdraw. Wrong weight class namely, and all the announced mechs get a big art spotlight when they first get announced.

We still need our 4th Assault before we get another Heavy mech.

Ah okay.Do you have a hyperlink to PG's newsfeed? The MWOMercs.com front page was re-designed and I can't find their announcements as easily as before.Thanks.
