I imagine we'll see the opportunity to rewrite things somewhat.

Honestly I expect CW to be similar to how chromehounds ran, with a victory condition and resetting rounds, or an area of space with so many areas of contention that noone can ever truly push the line forward. I do hope however, they use the opportunity to let us research new tech through battles we win and resources we accumulate.

Clan Smoke Jaguar is little more than a bloodthirsty band of murderers. Hardly the inheritors of the ideals of the Star League, but almost certainly the best manefestation of its policies towards the perhiphery. Really, CSJ fills a narrative niche: the role of the cartoonishly evil psychotic killer who both provides an easy target for players to annihilate (and want to annihilate), and a way for authors to make their mary sue Clan (Clans Wolf and Jade Falcon) look better by comparison.

I will enjoy Operation Bulldog, especially because MWO's devs seem to be intent on rigerously following Battletech cannon. Enjoy your half-decade of existance while it lasts, Jaguars.
