tomorrow the 8-team matchmaking will be ready, but i dont see any reason to play on it instead of 4,

why?
1-games will be harder (because you are playings against another 8-team)
2-team organizing will take more time
3-games will take longer time

taking those 3 time consuming factor will make playing on a 8-team a punishment instead of rewarding,

how to fix?
just raise cbills reward like 3 times only for the winning team, then i will consider play on a 8-team

what the ppl says?

mmmm i disagree, to real premade teams number 1 is worth far more than any amount of cbills, pug stomping is mind numbing.

There have been several times recently when a group of us didn't play MWO because we had more than four people online at the same time.

If you want to continue to PUG it up, no one is saying you can't.

Fix what?
That you have to play against other 8-man groups and can't pugstomp anymore?
That you play in a team in a teamplay game?
And why should games take longer? Because both teams will camp at their base and wait for someone to move out of cover?

My answer is, NO.
They can create a ranking system to compare e-peens, but if someone deserves more CB it's the puggers who have to play against organized teams.

4 are on a team and 4 more are a PUG, the other team is also likely a PUG, so, my statement stands.

I predict the biggest problem will be if the game forces you to drop with 8 only. Fielding that many people can be daunting. Waiting near indefinitely with 5, 6 or 7 players for the last to get in, and then when 1 person has to leave in an 8 man group, you've just shattered the group from being able to drop full. People will be sorely waiting for Phase III.

As for your points, difficulty is nothing I fear; in fact, I wouldn't like the game if I constantly rolled over the enemy. What good are games that shutout the enemy? 8-0? 0-8? There was no challenge, and you don't get better if you're not challenged. Losing is inevitable. The worst thing is not learning from your losses.

I thought the inherent reward of 8 man teams was avoiding the PUG players? If that's not enough I suggest going back to 4 man teams or just PUG'ing it.

Yeah... 8 person teams allow you to consistently play something other than "stomp or be stomped" mode. That should be reward enough.

But then you'll be missing out on facing teams of 8-cheesecats...

They're so easy to kite. I don't understand peoples fear of Streak SRMs. Yes, they're unbalanced because nobody would every choose a standard SRM2 over a streak... but they're not 'I Win' buttons. Just get a pair of large lasers and keep > 300m away from the StreakCat.

Oh yeah. A-doi. I kinda forget about that, and it's one of the biggest perks. ;)

Remember! PUGs are bad, m'kay? Don't do PUGs.
