I was watching an old MW cinematic which spawned this topic.

So what MW/BT game/book has your fondest memory attached to it?

For me its defiantly Mechwarrior 2 : Mercenaries.

In my very first game of BTC we read the rules for charging wrong. My Trebuchet charged 8 squares straight into a Clint and we applied all 40 points of damage to a single hit location. My mech went right through his CT; front armour, internal and back armour.

I got an old IDE cd that came with the magazine way back when. It was just before the release of MW2 and had a bunch of sweet screenshots and developer interviews. I was so stokes a 'real' mechwarrior game was finally going to happen! Yeah even with all that anticipation MW2 still blew me away.
