From any of the screenshots I've seen, it seems like the HUD is only orange or amber in color, with a semi-transparent background.
Since color-scheme has been problematic in other games, being ONLY Amber will lead to conditional visual problems based on the color-pallets of the game itself / ie: desert, etc.
I'd like to propose optional color schemas for the HUD (assuming it's not yet already planned).

I support this idea fully, I've always enjoyed being able to customize my HUD. If at all possible it would also be nice to be able to edit the graphics of the HUD (though I have no idea if this would give an un-fair advantage) still even being able to change the colour and possibly opacity is a great thing to have. I tend to use white with around 25% visability just enough to see it but hidden enough for it not to bother me.

Has this been impletmented yet? I'm really disliking the Amber and want to chage my HUD to either Dark green or blue.

It has been asked repeatedly since game was in closed beta. Its something the color blind players NEED due to the stupid brown filter and even more idiotic hud color defaults.
So far the devs have just 'hmm yeah' and *nods* but nothing has been done. Considering its merely changing the hud color and that it has not been done by now this only means its so far down the priority list it is found under the 'dont give a F' category.

Well being near blind I have to keep arm lock on because I rarely can see the dot ot the damn line to it. I am all for any abilty to configure it to preference.
Been months now since I asked for that along with being able to increase the font in chat and/or color. Annoying as hell when teamamtes cant get the point across and I wont do 3rd party voice until its and even playing feild for everyone. Being limited by disabilty makes one very aware how easy it is to exploit something for greed and I wont do it.
