For what it is worth, the F2P model has gotten much better over the past few years. There are many AAA F2p MMOs out there that seem to be doing well and succeeding. I have hope for now.

If they make it buy to play like Guild Wars, I wont be as worried Completely F2P just gimps everyone.

Plus this means no Story Mode.

Well... I trust in Bryan Ekman and Russ Bullock. I hope its going to be something like Need for Speed Shift 1 and 2 were for the racing genre. Actually quite realistic, but not to realistic so that everybody could find his way through the game and on the other hand some options to brake it down to arcade difficulty. In the last case of course not able to compete with the pros. That would be a good mixture.

It has gotten worse? Have you not read anything they've posted?

I'm pumped, and reading their Day0 blog, and the (short) response in the F2P thread, got me even more excited.

AS for the OP... its not really worth responding to. It seems he saw the title "online" and didn't read any other info.

Gah. This is ridiculous. This news has been out for what a day? two? And people are already flipping out. "the Franchise is ruined" "the game will be terrible" "It'll be Pay2Win just like every other F2P game". Seriously people. Calm down. Chill out. Just because this game does'nt exactly fit your very specific expectations does not mean it will be terrible.
