Haven't posted in awhile so I figured...why not? I was curious as to how many of you out there take a form of martial arts? Be it Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Kung Fu, Krav Maga, etc...
I'm starting it up again after quite a bit of time and some unfortunate injuries (unrelated to martial arts) including breaking my ankle. Was awesome. In any case, I'm fully healed again and I'll be studying Bujinkan Ninjutsu. I was quite good until previously said injuries, and I hope to get back to where I was in short order!

I took Tae Kwan Do in college. I was brown belt, ready to test for red. I also competed some. I'd like to study martial arts again, but I don't know which I'd go for. Probably Krav Maga or JKD.

Well I took my first class last night, it was amazing. I'm not as sore as I thought I'd be the morning after and my punching went back in proper form in no time.
So any other 'mechwarriors out there that take any martial arts?

Trained in wado-ryu karate to an intermediate level many moons ago.
It's a rather interesting and useful form of karate, being a lot less of a "hard" martial art than most of the other karate types - uses a good bit of, I suspect, judo/jujitsu and it tends twoards the stability/efficiency of movement/timing/you only get one real shot, better drop 'em fast end of things.
Have not had the chance to train in any other arts (yet): besides, I need to finish my wado training first anyways.

I did Tae kwon do for 9 or 10 years, you kind of lose track when it's been that long. I got up to 2nd degree black before I had to stop for school and school sports. I was the youngest person in our organization to get a black belt. I miss it a lot. I've thought about starting up a new martial art like, wing chun, or kung fu but time and money seem to be strong limiting factors. I've have been trying to teach my self how to use different weapons on my own from books and videos. Nunchucks mostly. Don't have a boken yet, and three sectioned staff doesn't seem to be very intuitive.

I stumbled into my current art of the Bujinkan school of Ninjutsu (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bujinkan) by total random luck. Having always had a fascination with Japanese culture to begin with, studying an art based on the older Japanese martial arts really drew me in. I gotta get in better shape though. I am not nearly fast enough as it currently stands and my strength is lacking.
It's always been a dream of mine to wear a black belt in a martial art and I am determined to have this happen with ninjutsu. I have a lot of work to do, but I'm up to the task

Been doing Muay Thai for about 2 1/2 years. Love it, though you do accumulate some injuries along the way. If you spar, that is...

Trained several martial arts before, but I started to train Savate this year. I'm loving and I'm improving very fast.
Also this month will back to train BJJ to get my purple belt.
