hey guys im pretty massively addicted to Wot and i hated all other mmos ive tested for the last 5 years. But Wot is getting repeatitive and i need something new.

I was wondering if some hardcore players could tell their feelings about mwo, i once was a fan of Mechwarrior 3 Mercenaries at its best time but i have strong doubts after wasting so much money on new mmo for just one month and then flee. Starwars, Secret World, Fallen Earth, Global Agenda the list would be too long... and i keep getting unsatisfied. You know what i mean if you been there too. Quest repeatitive c.... pointless pvp, zero penalty deaths or xp farming and i say STOP THIS. Ok i might give a last try @ GW2 but i swear its gonna be the last one (said that for secret world... )

If you're like me. which i estimate 20% of the readers Just tell me what are your feelings about MWO so i can has more accurate thoughts.

mwo > wot .. cant discuss much being under nda and all,but given time (it is beta after all) it will far surpass wot in terms of fun.Though looking at the wot 8.0 test server, watching a maus death from above an elc ... priceless.

If u were a MW4:Merc fan then there is no doubt that u will switch to MWO, just go watch the videos on youtube. WoT is a fun game, but it doesn't get close to MWO.

All I can say is I played WOT since it was open beta but haven't looked at it since I got by beta key for MW

well for starters the mod and dev staff pay attention to their playerbase here unlike wargaming who treat their players like mindless atm machines

I was on the fence before about this and I went for it, been great and way more involved then WOT, its very early and they are working hard on making it great. What drew me away from WOT was the RNG aspect of the games and how you can be 100% sure that you are doing well and two or three bad rolls and it doesn't matter how much skill you have you could still be dead.

The biggest problem I had/have with WOT is the push for premium ammo - a lot of the time you know you stand next to no chance of damaging the opposition if you end up as the lowest tier in the battle. The Devs have already stated that even the lightest mech can damage the heaviest in MWO.

MWO =/= WoT, I enjoy playing both as they have very different feels to them and are both really fun.

What push? The only place gold ammo every really gets used is Clan Wars or maybe company battles, but not pub matches. Even then you still have to aim carefully and make your shots count. If you can't aim with normal ammo, gold ammo isn't going to do you much good anyway. People who cry "Waaaahhhhh, gold ammo!" are just crappy players who are trying find an excuse as to why they're so crappy.

I got tired of WoT really quickly. Especially with their tier system and how slow it took to level things up. Since August 7th (the day all founders were granted Closed Beta access), I've played Diablo3 maybe twice, and have stopped playing WoT altogether.

I agree that gold ammo will do you no good if you you can't hit the target anyway! My point is that if you have a lower tier tank in a battle with higher tier opposition, it doesn't matter if you have a 100% hit rate if you can cause no damage. I have experienced this and it can cause a slight amount of frustration - whereas every weapon in mwo can damage any mech.
I have no doubt there will be a variety of different types of ammo introduced to MWO and I have no problem with that as long as it does not break the balance of the game.

Have you read some of the dev blogs and seen what the devs have planned for this game?
From what I have heard of WoT, I think that MWO will be far superior to WoT just from that information alone.

MWO is far better than WoT. Wish I could say more due to NDA.

AS for which founder pack to get...depends on disposable income really.. If ya got the spare cash get the elite. Best bang for the buck imo. Too bad I couldn't afford it

If you go elite, pick the mech you think you will enjoy driving the most. The economy stuff will take care of itself.

well i've experienced a tiny lag yesterday with my GTX460, followed by a ragequit...pfff was two IS4 and E50 versus just me anyway but i went to shop and bought a 660 Ti, on the way i made a cousin an happy SLI boy with this 460.
so first step done i'm now armed and dangerous(again) until next year...

First thing ive tried is Wot Test Physx engine LordDread mentioned above and indeed, they are ready to strike back, that was... incredibly beautiful. Still the same game tho but has nothing to envy @ CryEngine3. physx with active 3D BETA since it was 3D done by TV, thats sick! the Final version will hurt.. but i cant wait to see how mwo looks like

So hey guys, Atlas that is ? considering im a KV5 premium w .
Only thing i need to know now, that and if i may plan another 660 for MWO.
