The name "Grayson Death Carlyle" always bugged the crap out of me. Why not just name the character Ubercool Deathyman McAwesome?

It was indeed. I think it's a rather lame name that's trying too hard to be "totally rad man!" Seriously, giving him the middle name of "Death", but "oh, it really used to be pronounced "Deeth", but man, my ancestor was so awesome he changed it to Death!"? And really? Grayson? He needs a monacle and smoking jacket, and has to walk around harumphing with a name like that.

If his middle name was Patrick, I doubt everyone would run around calling him Grayson Patrick Carlyle constantly, it'd just be Grayson Carlyle.

/rage off

Some things just get under your skin.

Ok guys. You really need to get someone to proof-read these news flashes. There are a lot of spelling and grammatical errors cropping up which make these annoying to read. I know I'm not the only one that notices.

Everything else is awesome!

Mistakes happen. In the grand scheme of things, this does not matter at all.

Of course the Inner Sphere barbarians language is considered regressed unlike the vatborn Clans who show us the true meaning of progress in language.

EDIT: That was sarcasm!
Oh, and BLOODY CLANNERS!

I find the debate over how to pronounce 'death' grayson quite entertaining. The actual explanation in 'Decision at Thunder Rift' was that the pronunciation was changed from a long to a short 'e'. It would seem a lot of people don't know the difference.
