The actual requirements aren't out, however Crysis 2 is probably the closest thing to it as the games are running the same engine... and umm... Get CPU-Z?

You're thinking of CryENGINE 3 which runs both Crysis 2 and MWO.

Direct X Diagnosis will also tell you what's in your computer, start->run->dxdiag its very basic information but will give you a good idea of where you're at.

Well, Crysis uses CryEngine 2, and this will be CryEngine 3. BUT I'm fairly certain the devs are working to give us lenient specs for a large variety of users.

I'm sure if you have a newer laptop with a 512 mb video card you shouldn't run into many problems.

Also I'm pretty sure if you can run the original Crysis, running CryENGINE3 should be no problem. CryENGINE2 iirc was much more demanding, but then it wasn't as efficiently coded. Again, this is all from what I seem to remember reading about it. I'll fully research as necessary to save face if need be!

Your graphics card sucks. You'll be playing at minimum graphics settings for Crysis 2 most likely, and quite possibly this game. lol. still a bit better than my graphics card though at least.

ok my $0.02

determining graphics cards grade intended role etc.

both nvidia and ati use "code numbers" to describe the intended role of a gpu

nvidia 's identifiers are usually broken down like this:
525, 460, 560 590 etc

the first number indicates the model generation EG 2xxx 8xxx 9xxx 2xx 3xx 4xx 5xx
the 5xx until a new set is released is current, the next gen will likely be 6xx so from that standpoint great your card is current gen
the next number x2x, x4x, x6x, x7x, x8x, x9x this indicates where in the series the card falls IE a x2x card is frankly a movie playing card with limited performance a x6x card is a "value gamer" card a x8x is a performance gamer card, and an x9x card is often a dual gpu card essentually SLI on 1 plug in card

now the letter codes hung off the number as either a prefix, or suffix *** gt, *** gtx, *** ti modify the coding again altho historically they have been reserved for x6x -x9x cards.

with the alphabet soup codes a g or a gt may be an upmodified card from a no code card, a M code means moble IE intended for a laptop, for instance a 460 gtx vs a 460 M or 460 M GTX is typically going to clock higher and consume more power/generate more heat which usually also indicates "more POWER"

M gpus are usually reserved for laptops, all in ones, and integrated graphics

ati does similar with the x650 being a mid to high end card and the x670 being often roughly 1.5-2 of the x650's performance

this is potentually useful http://www.geforce.c...460/performance if you look at it it gives relative 3d mark performance numbers which while not necessarally 100% accurate (and no ati info as it is a nvidia graph) shows where in the performance charts a gpu weighs in

the 520-525 series gpus demonstrate how crippled they are relitive to older gpu's in fact notice how an 8800 dramatically outperforms the 520/525 that is because even though the 8800 is at this point ~5-6 generations out of date for its time it was a high end card... the 520 is ... not

Your card is in the middle for mobile GPUs

http://www.notebookc...5M.43889.0.html

It gets about a 3,000 for 3dmark Vantage GPU score, which is respectable (about the same as what my Mobility Radeon HD 5730 gets)

You should be able to run Crysis 2 on medium, based on that page. Mobile GPUs are always slow, but laptops run at very low resolutions typically, which help. If that card can get 34.5fps on medium with high AF and AA at 1024x768, you should be able to run at a more typical 1366x768 by lowering the AA way down.

Also, Ozbrad, the Cryengine 3 likes CPU speed more than other shooter engines (less a problem with a DX11 client, which MWO will doubtless have), and you've got one of the faster mobile CPUs, so you've got your bases covered pretty much.

I don't think you'll have trouble running MWO on mediumish.

If the 525 turns out to be alittle shy on performance, you can always OC it some using a program like MSI Afterburner. Just be careful of your temps, especailly using a laptop.

Also, as another user pointed out, MWO is not a twitch COD/BF3 style shooter, so the threshold for acceptable FPS will probably also be lower.
