So when I finally get into the game I will be going up against people who have a head start so my stats will probably suck. Because I'm not very bright it might take me longer to become a good pilot.
For example 50 fights solo starting out has horrid stats.
The next 450 fights I improve steadily.
The next 500 and I am in the zone and a decent mechjock.
I apply with a Faction and they look at my stats and are not impressed because half of my stats were when I was learning and sub-standard. If they could narrow the stats to my last 'x' fights it could show how I am performing currently.
I don't want any stats hidden or adjusted in any way but rather a way for people to prioritize or choose to see what they think is relative along with the overall stat sheet.

Being able to plot statistics like win/loose ratio over time and stuff like that would be good

It would be nice if you could set your statistics to public (everyone can see your stats), faction (only people from your faction can see your stats), friends (only friends can see your stats) or private (only you can see your stats). Still, there should not be a limit on what other people see, otherwise people could manipulate their statistics.

I don't want the pilot to be able to hide/adjust/screen any stats in any way.
I was thinking of possible leaders being able to find the data they want along with the standard information.
