Fellow FWLers,

I just wanted to say that through many community activities I have been involved with in the past, albeit Airsoft/paintball groups, gaming guilds, and forum factions, I have experienced drama, politics, name calling and segregation.

BUT.....I will say that since I have been involved with FWL in MWO for several months now, I have noticed that the members here are very mature, collected and they do NOT bring drama with them.

Speaking with several of you on TS3 (both public and private) is all the proof I need to know that we are lucky so far to run with a good team of members. We share good laughs and great stories. I also see that we are supportive in our new members.

Is it just me, or do you folks feel the same way?

Even back in the Mw2/netmech days FWL was always one of the most supportive
and well organized groups. (Even though canon would suggest otherwise.)
Our pilot requirements were often strict, but we would go out of our way to ensure
each member could reach the goals that were set.

I have talked to a few people regarding their house choice. Marik was at the bottom because canon suggested that with all of the inner political strife and civil war, it wouldn't be a fun house to join.

It is sad to know that the MWO version of the current FWL is quite the contrary.

I've had nothing but great experiences with Marik so far. Even the rare times our groups had organizational problems and we lost matches it was still enjoyable and a good learning experience.

Not surprising to hear that the more mature players didnt overlook the FWL. Im glad that our House is filling up with quality folks. Most casuals or less mature folks say" look at their logo, it looks cool, im going with them!" Those folks dont really care about the lore or just dont research it for various reasons.

How have you managed to avoid the RMA guys all this time? ;)

All jokes aside, you can't beat the FWL when it comes to finding a fun and supportive gaming community. I became a Marik in my teens and now im in my 30's... it amazes me every time I think about how this community has outlasted the ravages of time away from any viable MW game. I have had a lot of gaming buddies, but the great soldiers of the FWL are more like family. I can't begin to express how happy I am to see it all coming together again in MWO.

I will bleed purple to the end of my days!

Most of us have known of or each other for 14+ years. I think that everyone that played back then would agree that it was one of the biggest reasons we stuck together. That was the 'golden age' of gaming before any griefers took over. If we had someone being rude or trying to cause grief they were immediately black balled from the game.
