Hi all,

We're seven mechs in of a probable (?) twelve. Do any of the ones revealed so far strike a chord with you? I'm still holding out hope for my Urbie but I'm pleased the Commando is here; if I don't get my UM60 I'll be there in a COM2D. Obviously I won't go above 1/3 throttle at any point though - 32.4kmh should be enough for anyone...

Well, I did like the Dragon redesign very much, even though it's not my favorite 'Mech.
I'm most used to piloting battlemechs in the Heavy weight class, and the Dragon has the speed which most other 'Mechs of this era, never to mention that weight class, are missing sorely; it could also fit in almost any combat role and it excels in open terrain, which I prefer.

Unless the Archer or Warhammer somehow make an appearance in this game, I will most likely be piloting a Dragon.

I think I'll be giving the Jenner a spin since it's a light that I'm already familiar with and enjoy. I'm hoping for another heavy besides the Dragon; while I do like it, there are other heavies that take my preference.

I have to say, the Commando redesign...it (in my opinion) is the best yet. I love it so much i'm considering piloting one instead of the Heavy/medium plan i had. They better come out with a kick *** Liao mech soon (and not a light!) before i give in to the sweet temptation of that badass lookin 25 tonner

Commando!!! I've been yelling for this mech since we saw the first 3. Other than that I really like the Hunchback and the Centurian

Well they have two of my favorite mechs, the Hunchback and the Centurion. I am mostly a Medium guy my self and will dabble in the Lights and Heavies. I think they all look fantastic though.

If they allow the HBK-4J and the HBK-4N, they can attack at long ranges sense the 4J has two LRM10s and the 4N has an AC/5 and two LRM5s.

I swear, there is like 20 variants of the Hunchback.

I love the look of the Hunchback. It looks so... imposing now.

Either the Dragon or the Catapult could scratch my itch, but neither one is quite there, either.

Holding out for a heavy Medium/Light Heavy in the 5/8/5 movement range.

Because the way the forums are laid out, we don't realize which forum we're posting into until it's too late.

Would it help if I brought a fruit basket next time? XD

Yes, and by fruit basket I hope you mean free assault mechs.

Was wondering the same thing.

I'm still holding out for a Vindy.. or a Cataphract.

This is my Catapult.
There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Only chickenwalker thus far, not a fan of humanoids. Being able to send a stream of 30 missiles at someone a kilometer away, and then being able to DFA his head right through his a$$ gets some points too. I'll take the stock version and upgrade as I go.

None so far. The Catapult looks cool, but it allready looked cool before the redesign.

And I'm still waiting for a proper Centurion.

Catapult was a perfect thing for me, but I would not mind getting some other mechs.

Also Dragon now, but that came when I settled on the fact Shadow Hawk is not going to "make it" and Dragon is a mech that was meant to replace it in lore. Good thing it failed, but it is the only alternative right now for me. ;)
