I like them all, but I have to say that I just cannot stop grinning at the picture in your signature (in a good way). Call sign Irish :P

I thought you all (yes I'm from the south) would like these as well. I did them up when I was in a MechWarrior game on Solaris. I of course joined Wraith Stables since it was a Capellan group.

I would so love to see this one on one of the repaints that's being done. http://mwomercs.com/...ed-concept-art/ (maybe the Centurion to annoy the Davies)

I have recreated the old MechWarrior Personnel file from my copy in MS Publisher. If anyone would like a copy to make one for yourself, please shoot me an email and I'll link you to my dropbox folder.
I have the House Liao, Warrior House Hiritsu and 2nd Kearny Highlanders already done.
All you have to do is open it, and type in your name and it is already formatted for you, then print it.
You are ready to go.
I have also included the basic files to make your own for Steiner and Kurita, as well as a Davion PDF, but why would anyone want anything other than House Liao is beyond me... ;)

BTW, please make sure to only COPY from the folder, if you move from it, no one else will be able to grab the goodies.

No actually its an Armored Core action figure 6 inches tall I modified into a Vindicator.
And that first pic is from Korea, not Japan. ;)

Max:

Can I just say that I absolutely LOVE your Vindicator!!! B)

The vindy has always been my absolute favourite 'mech, and I think you've 'captured the spirit' of the design wonderfully.

Like the first Ral Partha sculpt of the VND-1R, your model really evokes the whole '1950s-style-butt-kicking-robo-trooper-of-the-future . . . of SPAAAAACCCEEE' feel that I so love!

Great stuff indeed!

Do you have more pics of it????

:o

Yes I do, I need to post a new ablum up for my model mods. I'll do that now on my web page and post the link. Give me a few and I'll get it done. Thanks for the kind words, I do like my Vindicator. I hope to do a nice Cataphract to match it soon.

As we already have a thread for fun stuff, I'd post my madskillz here, lol
My little dedication to House Liao - a wannabe Phoenix-Hawk

Other pics
It's made of macross Valkyre VF-1S kit and ton of green (hope it match Jade) paint by my own wierd hands. I've made hips wrong and cutted wings in order to make it less jetfighter looking. And just after assembling I've realized that I could make big laser pistol builded in hand :D Hyeroglyphs on leg should mean Xin Sheng (at least google translate thinks so) ;)
P.S.
Don't ask about crest on the shoulder, it's not time yet

You know, I always thought that the Capellan Neurohelmet was the coolest looking of the old-school 1980s models.

Not that I'm biased or anything . . . :)

Lima Zulu, nice paint scheme, paint looks a little thick. I wonder if adding a little flourescent green give a better match to the liao flag colours. By the way, the translation is correct. Nice job

Thx, paint is thick, actually - don't have an airbrush, so used Tamia spray. It limits my options in mixing dramatically. And about translate - that's a real surprise (:

The power of goggle. For anyone's info, the top character means 'new' and the bottom means 'birth' or 'rise' depending on context. That translates to rebirth I guess and thats what it was for the venerable Liao.
