Sorry about Ghost..
But Chuckie is now registered....
I have a feeling this will be to Mech Commander what MW:O will be the Mechwarrior Mercenaries series.
But both from the same publisher...? Both F2P....?
Whats even more curious is at GDC Piranha looks to be exhibiting with IGP... I would assume now the creator of MW:T will be as well..
I guess this also clears up any confusion as to if PGI and IGP were the same people.... Seems a lot of saturation of one license. Seems to be some sibling love at least between the two games. I wonder if the two "universes" will intertwine.. ?
BTW @MWTactics is thier twitter to quote:
mwtactics will not be a FB Game, no worries

I am calling it now and I want to see it. PGI vs Roadhouse / A.C.R.O.N.Y.M in a best out 2 out of 3 match for both MW:O and MW:Tac with the final battle being a quick game of the table top? (or Megamek?)
This wold be after both respectable products have been released of course

Work with Unity almost daily, it can indeed create complex games if the people building it know how. Now that it can port out to Flash you might not even need plugin downloads to play this if that's what they want to do with it. Though I'm seriously hoping that Tactical means Tactical and not some sort of really large scale nation building like game... I didn't even really read to much into Battleforce.
Still...that makes 3 Mechwarrior games in one year so far, not bad...much more than usual. Toss in Hawken and we have a lot of robots to deal with.

It could just be a Mechcommander type of game...which would be EPIC in an of itself! It could also be designed to eventually tie into MW:O as more then one way to influence the IS as a sort of cross game faction map.
In any case, just excited to see more Mechwarrior games, and looking forward to whatever they want to bring to life as Mechwarrior Tactics!
Best of luck and praise to the team creating it

I guess a fps is good but cant cover commander line.
So its better making 3 games 1 rts 1 fps and one mobile
It would help saga itself

Ok, my next project after making building an awesome PC game just for MWO is to get an ipad. I don't know squat about ipads and the only reason i'm interesed is these MW games. Back when MechAssault first came out, i got the xbox just to play MechAssault 1 and 2. Yeah i know they suck compaired to the MW sims, but that was the best that was available graphics-wise until MWLL came out.
Who here knows exactly what to look for when shopping for an ipad specifically for this game? I don't have a clue what ios means. Is that the OS for ipads or something?

MechWarrior:Tactical Command is being made by Personae Studios out of Singapore, not MekTek. Studio MekTek is working on Solaris Assault Tech.
