Perhaps an IOS/Android app that would allow us to monitor the metagame, customized our mechs, and perhaps chat with other players in our unit/faction?

Cool, now you can trade critical hits with the unsuspecting motorist next to you! The game will be enough distraction from RL. Don't need distraction in traffic. That, and I thought I saw something about no cross-platform development.
