There are 33 pages of post it this point so I might have miss this sorry if that's the case. I just want to say that I think that the "reseen" project phoenix mechs are good in there own right. They also seem to be better suited to the type of art that is being produced for this game. Yes I know that this is a backdoor to my all time fav mech The Marauder!!!! but I just don't think it is Mech Warrior with out the first 12. I Played Table Top and the Original Mech Warrior (MW, CHI and CHR) games back in the 80's early 90's, and with out that set of mechs this game will feel unfinished. I know that people have a lot of opinions about this and I want to hear that. What do u all feel about that idea? What about just going with the "reseen" getting our mech and being done with it?

I respect your opinion. However I have to disagree.
I think the reseen artwork was a failed attempt to shove the previously existing designs into a box that somehow could be used without causing legal issues and better fit the tabletop record sheets, which were rather limited in order for mass production. To me it was ill-concieved and badly done. Those mechs are not my original twelve mechs. That Marauder is certainly not my Marauder. If Flying debris is going to do a retreatment of the original mechs I would like him to start with the original "Unseen" mechs a s a bassis and then work from there.
Even better, how about starting with the Marauder IIC and work backwords? That reseen Marauder is a travesty, but if someone really wants to pilot it, Ok. But please don't call it a Marauder. It just isn't.
