Ignore the arbitery name, but how can I play MW:LL. More over the matter, is it Crisis 1 or Crisis 2 that I need in order do download the mod?

If you already have Crysis Wars then give MW:LL a spin. It gave me a good diea on what I did and did not wish to see in the MWO game.

I would advice against buying it just to play MW:LL. In the end it was a let down for me.

Crysis Wars, Warhead, patch to MW:LL. Just follow the instructions on the MW:LL site. I find that MW:LL is a good training ground.

Be sure you buy Cyrsis Warhead, not the original crysis.
Crysis Wars comes with Warhead, not the original game.

And have fun sending 4 proofs of your ID, receipt, proof of purchase etc off to EA... because they can be real idiots as half the codes don't work and if you buy legitimate software, they don't trust you.

They have update and use Crysis Warhead now not Crysis wars anymore. buy warhead goto the Living Legends site and DL the install.
Warhead will need a valid serial tho.

The serial numbers do not work from the Crysis War pack. They were being absoloute dicks about giving me a working code. Until I read the person on the phone a long list of messages people had listed on EAs own forums. They then insisted I photograph and email, the game in the box. The disc. And copy of the receipt. This was after refusing to call me back and charging me premium rate for a phone-call. I actually said to the guy are you calling me a software Pirate to which he replied no. So I was well then give me a bloody working code and stop being annoying. Worst customer service experience ever.

Why not just pay the $20 for the founder's pack?

No, it's standalone.

Where does it say they use Warhead and not Wars?

I just checked the site and the latest 0.6.0 release announcement said nothing about a change to warhead.

I think you may have misunderstood this sentence here.

Or you may be thinking of the time when they moved from the Original Crysis (Crysis 1) to Crysis Wars.
Warhead and Wars are the same, Wars is the Multiplayer part of Warhead.

Just go to the mechwarrior living legends site after you get crisis wars installed (since it runs on crisis wars now), then the MWLL updater will automatically update you to the latest version. Takes a while but once you have everything loaded it is one of the best mods I've ever played.Elemental Power Armor is standard, Vtols, Aerofighters, Tanks, Hovertanks, and ofcoarse Battlemechs (minus the costumization). Everything is standardized without the option for player builds but hey thats what MWO is for.

Hmmm, I've never had any virus related issues at all. Great fun though, payed full price for the crysis Warhead pack and never even bothered to download Warhead. MWLL's worth every penny.

I would say if you're getting virus alerts, they're false positives. Though I've been playing since 0.1.0 and NEVER had my antivirus think it was anything malicious.
