I was looking thorugh the list of mechs and didn't see any of my favorite mechs. Can anyone tell me if these are being included or why not and if anything in the current list would play like these did?

The 4 I loved were
Shadow Hawk
Timber wolf
Battle master
Kodiac

Shadow Hawk -> Unseen

Timber Wolf -> Clan

Battlemaster -> We could actually see this at some point maybe. It is of the right time period and an IS mech

Battlemaster is unseen too (Crusher Joe Anime, model Bigfoot).
I'm not sure if it is still verboten, but I have a feeling that PGI will take a hands off approach to any mech that may lead to a lawsuit. There are just too many other options available.

On the other hand, with flyingdebris (the MWO artist) redesigning all the mechs maybe it is possible as the likenesses will significantly change.

Unseens are possible to be included due to FD's redesigned 'mechs. The Clan 'mechs will not be included (at launch). As far as which 'mechs that are already known to be in the game playing like any of the four you listed, well we only know oh literally a small hand full. It is too early to tell which 'mechs that are going to be included at launch to make any sort of speculation.

Just pay attention to the Wednesday updates and cross your fingers. Good hunting mechwarrior.

I'll miss the unseen for certain, but there are story and redesigns that were done to make them viable (Unless I am mistaken on the legal standing of these). I can but hope that the "reseen" as of http://www.sarna.net...Project_Phoenix will finally get their chance to shine. (I really want the griffin =P)

As the others have mentioned; clan tech will not be part of the release. While disappointing to some, the idea of following the changes, trials, and tribulations that the IS goes through when the clans invade will be an epic time to remember, if its done correctly...

I concur Dez, I am looking forward to being invaded. Be interesting to see how they allow for players to play clan pilots.

I thought the Chameleon was just a training mech the Dragoons used that could have lots of addons put on to simulate a variety of mechs on the field.

Hoping for a Wolverine or Griffin in the medium catagory, and an Annihilator in the assault catagory. All of the mediums when it comes to clan mechs.
