We have a rank structure in place, where the higher ranked officers work hard to provide the forums, teamspeak and training structure for the unit as a whole. If you have trouble respecting the work that others put in place for you, then you may have a problem. All we expect is a little respect and common courtesy.
We are not known to "yell" at our recruits at all. Our Brigade Commander, and founder of the unit - Pappy would be extremely upset if this kind of behaviour went on. That said, if you are not wanting to jump in and play as a team (which will include following the instructions of a pre-determined drop commander, officer or not,) then you may want to continue looking.
If this all sounds fair and reasonable however, were happy to have you.
As for the Liao ties, i dont know what you mean, and i will pm you about it.
depends if your gonna just do the same old same old every time on the same map, i like a bit of variety, i scout or run an atlas. and yes teamwork is the key to any victory.
the group i run with now is amercian time zone based, and it runs quite smoothly we laugh and have a great time and win almost every match, but we allow people to play whatever mech they want, not being told you have to take this, someone voltuneers to be the scouts or scouts, and we make a plan based on what people are going to use, not have a rigid structure saying we have to have this , this and this, if it does sometimes go fubar, i'ts a simple discussion if and what we could have done better. and we all try to improve.
what i'm asking is this a group of gamers who play to be gamers or one of this up tight rigid command structures who get all pissy if say the scout makes a wrgon turn, gets tripped and then dies quickly and leaves the group without a forward observer?
i played in 1 group where the suppose captain barked orders and got quite vocal and abusive saying you not doing this right or this, rather than giving some advice and saying that this way could have worked out better and to try next time to do it maybe this way and we can do better.
