Ya I remember it, it was called "Battletech" I believe and they made only 1 season 10 eps. I still have them on vhs.
Do you remember the 1st PC game of Battletech?? It was called

Crescent Hawk Inception, followed by Crescent Hawk's Revenge

I started playing BattleTech in 1979. 1992 I got my 1st Pc a pentium 60 500mb ram 550mb hard drive 14.4 modem
to play C.H. inception. I have been forever HOOK ;) on all things Battletech, and Mechwarrior, from the metal miniture
figurines to the software games. AND I STILL HAVE THEM 1 and ALL!!!!! God DON'T help me, I Do Love it so!!!

Well off to play the remolded and upgraded Mechwarrior 4 Mercenaries which IS FREE from - Mektek.net
PS they have added a massive amount of New Mechs and an improved Multi-player.

Just gotta say, you're FOS [full of sh$#]

Battledroids [which was what battletech was first called.] came out in 1985 [I happen to know this because Battletech is 27 years old, which is how old I am.]

Outside of that, glad you enjoy it.

Um, this carton had nothing to do about House Steiner. They might show up in a later episode but the show was not about them. It was actually about House Davion and House Draconis joining together to fight the clans. Honestly I am surprised that did not actually happen. The clans hit both houses pretty hard and took out a good section of their turf. If both sides worked together it would have benefited them greatly.

I'd like to thank 'Jade Kitsune',(and beings we are using belittlement's) I'd just like to say to MPiaB (Miss Panties in a Bunch who is also wrong with her stated date) here for pointing out my mistype error. Battledroids was published and released in 1984. "Google It!" My date was copy mistakenly while talking with wife and typing this post at the same time.

"I Apologize for this!!"

Oh ya! And I'm 49 years old, retired from military at 37 ( enlisted at 17) and this has what to do with this?
Have some "Respect" all that was needed said was you got the dates wrong! ;)

If you're going to get snippy, get the dates right. BattleDroids came out in 1984, at least according to the dates on the copy I own. The first release of BattleTech was 1985, with a line on the back of the box calling it "The Second Edition of BattleDroids".

this cartoon was my first look at the mechwarrior world, so that started it all for me, then went to mw2-3- and much mw4 + expansions ;)
