Practice for what? I still haven't seen so much as a screenshot of the actual game, and it's a little worrying for a team to claim they are in pre beta and still have nothing to show but concept art.

Sadly I am unable to get any of the MechWarrior games (including living legends) to install on my computer, so I am stuck for now with the novels, manuals, these forums and other websites (notably Sarna). Otherwise I do have Phantom War... but no one considers that a true MechWarrior game.

Playing MWLL while working on a project to convert my Sidewinder 3D Pro to USB.

Once its converted, watch out. I should have uber skills from using this crappy logitech stick, even with the sensitivity low its oversensative, and i swear they've added an aimassist like they have gamepad controllers. When i switch back to analog the crosshair should move in exact accordance to me moving the stick. BE SCARED!!!

WoT.. seems it has a battlefield screen for "commanders", and is a F2P.. so I think "Tactically" its as close as MW:O as we have right now.

A buddy and I are playing MegaMek. 4 v 4 matches on urban maps with double blind rules is fun practice for info warfare strategy. Let me tell you, not having a mobile scout to keep track of where bad guys are SUCKS.

Playing mw4 Mercs to get re-aquianted with weapon ranges, and mechs i forgot about long ago. Dated, but still decent.

Personally I am tying to figure out how to practice. As it appears there will be no pve, no salvage, and people are calling for no customization and no mech lab at all. You put those 4 together and well that's just a super basic 1st person shooter with mech graphics. Hopefully the devs are not listening to them

While i'm waiting to finish building my PC, I'm starting to play MWLL a little more, despite my current out dated hardware/software causing CTD issues. When i finish building my new gaming PC for MWO, if MWO isn't released yet and the "required PC specs" aren't released yet, i'll go get Crysis2 and test the new PC with that game.
