Hunchback.
YLW is nothing than easy frag for me right now. Why? Ok. First - it's still Centurion, it's still armless mech in 3 minutes after match start, plus YLW have his main gun in that arm; moreover, it's close-combat gun. Second, -1 actulator, so YLW can't move his arms to the left and to the right. Third, no missiles, nuff said.

Arm aiming beats torso aiming, and that counts for a lot =)

I'm not seeing Triple-Strength Myomers, and since CQB isn't being coded the YLW is really just a credit making fancy paintjobby. Its a great target, easy to spot on the battlefield AND the paintjob serves as a great aiming point to lop off that AC/20 totting arm. Which is what I've been seeing happen a lot in matches with teams that know what they're doing.

"Oh look, now its just a slow, brightly lit target with two medium lasers. I'll be over here at over 90m and blast it. Oh and I don't even have to worry about it trying to charge and disembowel my mech, that other claw/hand/hatchet is just for show."

-YLW has a hatchet or claw on left hand

Can this even be a valid aspect? Its visuial from what I understand and serves no pourpse.

Moreover, the Legendary mech is quite vunriable to attacks on its hands, and would be much better suited if its weapons are closer to its core.

4g. torso mounts are more stable, and the hunchback's ballistic mount is cockpit level meaning ridging is easy

Cent, it's easier to get headshots aiming with the arm as opposed to lining up shots with the torso on the Hunchback

Hunchback, taking off that Ballistic Arm will be easier then taking out the Hunchback R-Torso.

People keep talking about the YLW as though you can aim the arm horizontally. Did I miss something? Because it doesn't do that. It basically aims with the torso unless you are aiming up or down.

The claw on the YLW is purely aesthetic, it isn't even worth mentioning as a benefit. It is nothing but a "shield arm" that you will lose in two or three volleys.

I haven't seen a YLW be effective in a fight yet. If we see a YLW on the opposing team we laugh at it. It is just a cheap mech that you can make some Cbills with due to low repair costs and Hero bonuses. It is otherwise a joke.

The YLW has sufficiently boosted torso twist range to negate the loss of arm swing horizontally (much like a Cat), and the best maneuverability vs. engine scale factor in the game at the moment.
