Seriously?
This is a BETA!
You aren't here to level up and earn money. Well to a point you are only to turn around and spend it to make sure things are working properly. Apparently you didn't read the terms of what this BETA is about. You weren't let in to start playing the game. You were let in to TEST out the game and find problems across the board.
In case you didn't notice it is a BETA TEST!
As you can see from above.
Also:
"Additional Info from a helpful community member, HeroicTofu
As the influx of new beta testers increases week by week, I've noticed quite a few misplaced topics and posts on the state of the game! Due to the randomness at being picked for a closed beta, I feel, as I'm sure many of my peers do, that some people don't understand what it means to be in a closed beta. So with that, I present to you a HeroicTofu Production: Closed Betas and You!
What does it mean to be a Closed Beta Tester?!
Well I'm glad you asked mysterious voice in my head! As a closed beta tester, our mission is to seek out any and all bugs that we may come across and report them back to the developers in as constructive a way as possible! This is not an early taste of the game in a 'usual' sense. We are trying to make this game the best that it can be so that us MechWarrior fans that have been waiting a decade to play a new MechWarrior game have somewhere to park ourselves. Oh, and we'd like new people to the franchise to enjoy themselves as well!
How do I help as a Closed Beta Tester?
Another fantastic question! It can help a great deal by having a pad of paper and pencil next to you at all times in case you notice graphical glitches, weapons not functioning as intended, and any other game mechanics that appear awry. Keep your notes as organized as possible until after your playing session is complete and then figure out the best area to report your findings. Generally speaking, if it's a glitch and not a balance issue, you'll want to use the Beta Ticket system found by hovering over the game drop down menu at the top of the page and selected the link, "Beta". From there, you will quite easily find the beta ticket system!
Newly Added (6/21/12, 7:25PM):
So what should you do if you find a game breaking glitch? Take down notes of your approximate map value (C5, Left-Middle of square), the mech you were piloting, if you were using jump jets, what weapons you were firing at the time the glitch happened, if you can recreate the glitch, and any other notable details! Make sure to submit a Beta Ticket if it's a brand new issue not mentioned elsewhere on the forums! Remember, the devs are (probably) not monitoring every single game for messages in chat, so mentioning it in chat won't necessarily make it back to the devs! Thanks to Tice Daurus for this tip!
Good Feedback and you!
With those two out of the way, that brings us to our third topic! (Yes, there's three!) In many instances, a new patch or addition might be broken directly out of the box. This is our chance to help the developers fix the mistake as soon as possible. As upsetting as it might seem, please refrain from overtly negative comments (As in, YOU GUYS SUCK! /ragequit), and make the comments as constructive as possible as outlined above. Also, try to seek out similar topics to your concern before starting a new one. This eases the strain on the developers from having to find 15 different topics, each talking about the same subject.
Another thing to look out for is if someone else is sharing your opinion, instead of restating it, you can 'like' the comment (if something gets 50 likes, it gets a special "popular" image next to it) to draw attention to it. Or if you read it, you can quote it and say "I totally agree and would like to add "insert constructive feedback here".
Remember, there are going to be people with widely varying opinions to yourself. Before you rage at someone, keep this in mind. If you can totally refute them in a constructive way without attacking the person directly, that would be your best option. Resorting to "You're an *****! How could you think that?!" is only going to create an unnecessary flame war and won't help the developers at all!
It's best to take as neutral and kind a stance as possible to help other people see your viewpoints without outright attacking someone else's ideas! And this gives the developers Good Feedback!
In Conclusion:
So with this, we have some basic guidelines to help all the new people entering the closed beta! This helps the developers (and truthfully, the rest of us as well to help further test things) and will make MWO one of the best F2P games on the market, if not best game in general!
If anyone else has ideas, feedback, comments, etc to add or modify this list, please feel free to add it and I'll edit the post as necessary. Thanks! Your neighborhood friendly tofu:
HeroicTofu"
(I edited the section about small lasers out as I felt it may break the NDA)

Nobody gives out awards to bearing manufacturers for what they do, but the world would grind to a halt without them, thanks for fixing the underlying structure, some of us understand that not every patch/maintenance time will bring spiffy new stuff.

You sir, need to go find some definitions for things you clearly do not understand. And btw, had you READ THE F***ing MATERIALS...you would have noticed plenty of times that yes, they do inform you of wipes, every single time they've done it. You have only yourself to blame for your perceived problems.
ProTip: Chill the heck out, what you paid for will be there when the game actually launches. If you don't want to contribute as a tester, please feel free to not launch until Open Beta.
