Hi everyone!

I'm having a hard time running thy good old MW3 on my pc under windows 7 x64. I've looked through mech3.org, mechwarrior3.org and several pages of google results but I haven't found anything.

Does anyone knows how to make it run?

Seyla!

I'm almost sure you already found this solution... but have you tried running the executable in Windows 95/98/XP mode (via Compatibility tab in Properties)?

I got MW3 to work on Win7 x64 but only in hardware video mode and there are issues with DirectX making the vehicles sky rocket into the air and eventually fall back only to launch again. I researched it a bit and it seems the video issues can be fixed by the user but the DirectX cannot (without some kind of patch being written).

So you are where I was. The answer for me was to build a 98se or 2000 system and play it.
