Well hear I am, waking up on Wednesday, what should normally be the last Wednesday of the month. I ****, shower, shave. Don't need to be at work for a while, so i hop on over to the MWO site.

No mech...

I'm suddenly dumbfounded. Ready to cry, maybe it's just late?

No such luck.

We're screwed out of a mech today because SOMEBODY thought it was amusing to abide by Leap Year...which is stupid to begin with.

I say that's not fair, and since they pull a fast one on us today, they should make up for it by giving us 2 mechs next Wednesday.

It's the only cool thing to do. I'm going to hold my breath until it happens.

edit. There, I see my threat is already taking effect!

I expect another one next Wednesday!

Yeha, it happened WHILE I was posting this. I was in the announcement's forum just before, came here, wrote this, and they posted it. So it means they really do care about me, and don't want me to hold my breath till next Wedsnesday.

Still, a second mech on Leapyear Wednesday makes sence, it's a once in a 4 year opportunity.

I don't really think a 'Mech announcement is very likely, though I do get this feeling we may be presented a screenshot next week.
Or maybe it's just dinner.

I recall Bryan or Russ saying all the Media was going to be for GDC or maybe a little "just before".... so we might see some in Game Screenshots next week.... that would be awesome!

No, I didn't miss out on that. I've literally read every announcement here (and yes, I read the Commando one also, just after I started thsi thread.)

A big anouncement means it's goign to be an Assault Mech on Leap Year Wednesday, in addition to all the other stuff.

...it's the ONLY right thing to do.

EDIT, btw Grimm, you get those "Awesome" Marauders when the Clans come back with their 85 ton 3 CERPPC monstrosity back.

Either of those mechs would be nice. I'm actually hoping for an Orion at some point, because I think FD's drawing skills would fit really well with that style mech.

Yeah, they said its going to be awesome...its going to be BIG....so there are strong hints it might be an Awesome.

But of course, they could just be throwing us off and it could be something else...like a video or screenshot.
