When 2009 showed us the concept videos I think pledges might have been at least part of an option(pledge is the money is not donated unless a certain pledge goal amount is met). That enthusiasm among people was energy that could have become the form of money if called upon.

What ever. I was wondering why there was is no donate button on this site? Maybe you guys have enough money from your publisher. Maybe more would make the game better?

perhaps there could be perks for people who want to donate, like a special cockpit accessory or badge for the pilot's uniform or something?

The OP is suggesting that if PG needed more funds for whatever reason, that fans of BT/MW would be willing to donate funds to help crowd source the game.

People are so passionate about this franchise that they would be willing to give money for the development of the game so long as it insured a AAA title.

Whats the problem with having donations for Paul, (Ok and other Devs, Gezz), too to afford repair cost, when we all get online and kick the S&^% out of them for torturing us these months, and months?

Isn't a Mod just a low level Dev of sorts? Sorry for your Beer Rash Metro. I couldn't imagine getting Rashes from Beer. I would be the Ugliest man on the planet if Beer gave me rashes.
