first of all for hot drops 1) for a mechwarrior getting on the ground is harder than it sounds
2) hot drops should be a mini game in itself to see if you screw up the landing
3) you screw up the landing you
1. take whopper fall and bust your mech up in different places
2. or blow up in general

Some hotdrops end in failure and light, medium, and heavy mechs can take some bad damage to mechs if they are not careful. just my Opinion i dont care what anyone thinks im not waiting to fall to the surface with a clean mech this has to be interesting

Sir with all due respect, are you high?

So basicly in an age of portable fusion reactors ,computers are not able to land a mech with boaster jets and stabilizers while egg shapped dropships able to maneuver in mid air.

Well all I can say we have para dropable hangers for planes since 98s.

No i am not high :D I'm just saying the duration of respawn and the hot drop itself, falling to the ground, etc.... ur just gonna tell me to see the scenery, flashing lights, bombs bursting in air! you can see that when your atlas is toast.

This would get tedious quite quickly and people would start asking for an "automatic" button to avoid the minigame. And randomly cracking up mechs that hot drop is simply a horrible thing to do to your paying (hopefully, and more likely if you don't implement this feature) customers.

Dropping out of a dropship with a 20 ton mech behind enemy lines with surprise on your side under no fire = easy. Dropping out of a dropship in a 100 ton mech under heavy AA while the crew refuses to slow down for a proper drop and can't orient the ship properly due to damageged thrusters = hard.

I think it would be awsome depending on how it is implemented to have real hot drops.
