Everyone keeps saying they want the Awesome. I think we need to be alittle more specific...
Which version of the Awesome do you want? Because it comes with 54.0 MPH 3xPPC and 1x small laser by default. Somehow I am thinking that is not what everyone is asking for and that you all want one of the varients.

I am guessing people want this one?
AWS-9M - The 9M is an upgrade of the Awesome that uses Star League technologies, and was introduced in 3049[5]. The 'Mech is built around a 320 Hermes XL Fusion engine, giving the 'Mech a top speed of 64.8 km/h. The heat sinks were upgraded to double heat sinks to allow this variant to be rearmed with three Fusigon Longtooth ER PPCs. The ER PPCs are backed up by two Hovertec Streak SRM-2s, a Magna 400P Medium Pulse Laser, and a Diverse Optics Type 10 Small Pulse Laser. BV (1.0) = 1,469[1], BV (2.0) = 1,812[9]
That one sounds nice but I don't see us getting to start with double heat sinks so I doubt it would be this model.

This one looks sweet
AWS-9Q - A basic upgrade introduced in 3057
but thats the future so that won't be it.

Can someone point me to a really nice version that we can use in the release year that doesn't have all double heat sinks in it?

I want the 4 standard PPC's withch are 3050 tech and through out the gardian ecm.... :) just like the 9Q... :) 10 more points of damage 5 points less heat "i'll take it"

I am very fond of the AWS-8Q... it's a good 'Mech to learn piloting an assault. It's slow, has thick armour, a nice punch, builds up a lot of heat... all traits that are typical for assault class 'Mechs. Every faster variant is interesting, yes, but I don't really care about them.

Even the basic "ghetto" Awesome is scary to go up against. Give me a baker's dozen with plenty of variety. :)
