This looks very good. What software did you use? Looks like SolidWorks and the image done with SolidWorks PhotoView..

Not bad. Though looking at your dA gallery I like your SU-85 a lot better. Would it be possible to embellish the details on this model to give it a more realistic look? Your modeling looks clean and the panel lines and bevels are good. Yet to me it still seems to be missing something.

I feel the same....maybe it is beacause SU-85 just looks better (,or just have more details), or because I used different rendering engine (,that didnt allow me to use more than one light source without waiting 9 hours).

Bloom...Blur....Film grain..........Game style! :)

Maybe trying to remake it into engine I used for SU-85 would make them more visible. However I have no problems seeing details when I zoom it.

Or adding dark colors at the bottom of details could also help it.

I think Hana Yuriko meant the lack of details on the model itself (something the original image kinda lacks and you'd have to make up your own details like, idk, doors, maybe some armored windows used on APCs, or just simple things like ladders).

This exactly. The SU-85 has minor details like the headlights, hand grips on the fenders, and other little things that gives it that bit of something extra that can make a model stand out. Take a look at the LAV-300, the French VBCI, or the American M1126 Stryker for detailing ideas.

-edit-

For an example, here's the Wheeled APC from TRO 3026

And here's what I did with it.

Oh yes, much better! Just try to remember that when detailing a model with greebles, that the parts you stick on look like they belong there. So far you're doing well. I assume that the other side looks about the same?

Only suggestions I have here would be to add an antenna or two. There are a few different kinds you can use, from the common whip antenna, to a short stubby kind that are about a foot long. Also not sure what's going on with that panel you detailed above the forward wheel. The one that has a tail end sticking down doesn't look quite right to me. Maybe just square it off like the other three panels in that section.

How does this look to you? It's a quick chop job in photoshop but I think it sets what I'm describing.

Other than those two things, you've done a good job in embellishing a design.

You dindt have to add that image I know what you meant. I just wanted to make it not look similiar to other panels.

BTW: Thanks for the tips. ;)
