The Flea was announced as the 16(?) mech yesterday. It uses MASC, so there will propably a MASC in the game.

Yes the stock Flea uses MASC. It's announcement is proves that they where planning MASC.

Also from Ask the Devs 18 ( http://mwomercs.com/...evs-18-answers/ ), they announced the variants that they are planning for the announced mechs. It included the Cataphract CTF-3L Which also has MASC.

So yes MASC will be in the game at least eventually.

Hmm...it will most likely cause heat anyways. Maybe it will start doing damage to the legs if you use it to often. Who knows?

I think MASC is a good addition to the game. Depending on its implementation, I could see myself using in certain situations.
