Let's say that due to the success of Game of Thrones and Battlestar Galactica HBO decides to do a sci-fi series based on an existing property. They pick Battletech for whatever reason.
What would you want to see in such a series?
Personally I think the timeline MWO is taking would work very well. IS fighting amongst itself for the first 2 seasons, and at the end of season 2 the Clans show up to flip the table.

They would pick BattleTech because it is a long and storied franchise with a large and dedicated worldwide fanbase. The franchise is still going strong with two new & exciting state-of-the-art games coming soon. And, BattleTech is the best thing since sliced bread was invented!
I think the 4th Succession War would be a good starting point. It really introduces the main characters and faction. It also has some great battles that involve all 5 of the Great Houses. The marriage of Hans & Melissa and his toast to start the War: Priceless! That would lead into the War of 3039 and then the Clan Invasion.

I'd love to see a series revolve around either GDL trilogy or Warrior Trilogy, plenty of story and action in both.
