Hi everyone this past saturday I had a house fire and ended up losing everything including 3 kittens. I almost lost my wife as well as she was sleeping in the second floor bedroom when it started but a neighbor got her out. We just replaced one of the comuters with a cheap laptop so we can atleast keep up with our friends online but its not the greatest so I don't know when or if I'll be able to get back into the game. So keep us in your prayers and I'll try to keep everyone updated.

I'm sorry to hear you lost your home and your cats but thank goodness you and your wife are ok. I also have to say that i admire you and your families courage, that must of been a horrible thing to live through and i know i wouldn't be bouncing back nearly as well, you are all certainly in my prayers. I hope that everything works itself out and that everything will get back to normal for you guys!

Here's hoping the insurance company doesn't try and stitch you up for your misfortune. With luck, you'll end up with newer gear and probably a few more grey hairs.

Dragonknight146, I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Please take the time to recuperate, knowing the MWO universe is going to still be here when you get back. I'm glad you both got out safely.

You are very blessed! I will pray for y'all, and for a smooth recovery. I do not know the specifics of the event, but I would say that you were protected by Divine purpose.

God Bless!

I'm an atheist, but best wishes and I will keep you in my thoughts :(

I'm praying for you! I'm sorry to hear about your cats and your other belongings. I can only try to imagine how hard that must be. Glad to hear you and your wife made it. Most other things can be replaced, your lives cannot. Peace.

Update about whats been going on so far. We were let back into the house to see if there was anything that could be salvaged this morning. We found the the wife's ID and medical supplies actually survived the fire and waterlogging along with my important papers and dvds. Our computers and gaming systems however are a total loss. Our 360's plastic cover is completely melted off. We've also been aggressively looking for a new house and are hoping to be in a new place by the end of the month.(The first place we looked at makes a hunchback's cockpit look spacious. lol)

Just get something over your head and back on your feet. A house fire has to be one of the single most traumatic things that can happen to a family. I am glad you made it out and are moving forward.

Just a quick update guys. just got off the phone with my old landlord and he said that his insurance may come after my wife and I because of the fire. He also refused to give us the difference in the rent from when we were displaced. Then there's Comcast that wants it's piece of flesh by saying we're responsible for their equipment that got destroyed in the fire. However on a lighter note my wife and I go to see a lady about a house today. Hope to have good news from that soon.

Well we went to see the house yesterday and we sign the lease thursday. They didn't have a problem with our cat and dog so we can take them with us. ^^ I'm gonna be mailing the Comcast corporate office later in the week about the equipment that their trying to charge us for. one of my wife's friends started a donation page for people that want to help but i don't think I'm allowed to put it up here. So if you want the link private message me. Well wishes are just as important to us right now as physical help if not more. My wife has been crying off and on from the stress since the fire happened and seeing all the encouraging remarks has helped her. So I thank you for them. I'll try to post another update thursday after we've started moving in.

this is the link to the actual news article http://www.nbc40.net/news/23951/

Hi everyone. We can finally move into the new place today. The realator called us last night that all the water tests and inspection came back good and that we could go in today. I just have to get the utilities transferred into our name and we're good to go. So in a couple weeks I'll be back in the game hopefully.
